My brother and sister were out with a friend, and they were walking through a park, and a bunch of kids/teens jump out from behind a building and threaten my brother with a knife and steal his ipod. This just happened not to long ago, and the cops are coming to get a statement and stuff. Sam (bro) is understandably freaked out. Just wow. Wtf. Wtfwtf.

(12 | comment) [08 Aug 2009|01:53pm] It's been a long time! I feel guilty about abandoning this old journal that served me so well in the past. I should maybe turn it into a sketch blog, or something. Maybe post story snippets? I dunno. Spent some time today prettifying my journal info. The first step of a renaissance? Need to do some image editing (or maybe just some drawing) when I get home to put a pretty little header image crown on the top of it. Also did some writing today, in a real, paper journal with a real, ink pen. After cramping my hand a bit, typing feels so light and free that it is surreal. Been entertaining myself with terrible fiction - ie: The Vampire Diaries, the show of which already looks lame despite not having even premiered. I understand that it's hard to fathom how a show about vampire romance could be lamer than the vampire romance books that are its counterpart, but I swear it to be true. In other entertainment news, I am eagerly anticipating District 9, though it looks like it is going to high on the "why does good publicity happen to bad movies?" scale.
